Our Mission

The Faculty of Political Sciences, within the framework of contemporary values and by drawing upon the accumulation of science, knowledge, culture, and arts, is committed to educating students who utilize their professional knowledge and skills in line with the objective of contributing to national development. Our mission is to nurture individuals who are thoughtful, inquisitive, sensitive to societal issues, respectful of traditions and customs, and equipped with strong communication skills.

The Faculty pursues its activities with the responsibility of cultivating intellectual individuals who research, produce, and consume consciously; who follow Turkey’s and the world’s evolving economic, social, and political developments; who possess the ability to analyze both local and global transformations; and who have the knowledge and competencies to manage organizations and institutions across diverse sectors.

Our Vision

Our vision is to contribute to the development of the region and the country by engaging in innovative practices and establishing national and international collaborations. Our academic and administrative staff embrace as their primary responsibility the task of equipping young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to follow technological advancements and to become beneficial members of society.

In this regard, the vision of the Faculty of Political Sciences is to educate qualified professionals who can meet the needs of the public sector, the private sector, and civil society; and to support entrepreneurial and innovative stakeholders who are capable of assuming initiative, making strategic decisions, and working efficiently and effectively within their respective sectors.
